This three bedroom Victorian terrace in the heart of Islington required full refurbishment when purchased by our clients.
Our remit was to strip out and renew the existing finishes whilst maintaining many of the original features such as the cornices, skirting and mouldings.
The roof structure was removed in it’s entirety and a new mansard roof was constructed which provided an extra bedroom with en-suite shower. On the lower ground floor and ground floor rear extensions were constructed to provide a larger bathroom and television room.
New mechanical and electrical services were installed and new sliding box sash windows were fitted throughout. A large 2x1m single piece glass roof light was installed to the rear to provide more natural light to the lower ground room.
New mansard bedroom with polished reclaimed floor boards. Below rear Mansard with hanging natural slates and sash window.
